Traffic along Leigh Road in Langford will be held up for five minutes at a time due to blasting on site.
That’s in the stretch between Highway 1 and Goldstream Ave.
During the hours of 9 am to 5 pm, from today October 18 through to December 30.
Traffic control personnel will be on site. Motorists should expect delays, says City of Langford Engineering.
Leigh Road is a busy and heavily-travelled thoroughfare between Highway 1 into commercial and residential areas of Langford, including toward Starlight Stadium.
People who normally use that route might want to exit Hwy 1 at Millstream or West Shore Parkway instead.
