For enthusiasts of older vehicles, this Sunday offers a bit of fun at the 10th Annual Langford Show ‘n Shine.
Again in the city core on Goldstream Avenue, the walkabout event will showcase classic muscle cars from 1975 and earlier.
Parking for cars to arrive is open from 7 am to 9:30 am (participants have pre-registered).
The actual event runs 10 am to 2 pm for the public.
Awards will be handed out at 1 pm near the fountain.
Road closure 6 am to 3 pm:
The road closure of Goldstream Avenue from Peatt Road to Veterans Memorial Parkway, as well as on Bryn Maur Road and a small portion of Station Avenue will be from 6 am to 3 pm.
The Langford Centre mall (Fairway Market) will be accessible via the eastern-most entrance on Goldstream Avenue, and access will be maintained into 731 Station Avenue (M’akola apartment building), the Prince Edward Lodge, and the parking lot fronting Floyd’s Diner.
