Just ahead of Christmas the West Shore RCMP were out doing a winter tire road check and sending out photos of their role in community support for one family-in-need at this holiday season (officers were asked to bring in gifts and Christmas-dinner food).
Earlier in the month they reported on quickly resolving a would-be threat at Belmont Secondary School.
After Christmas, their release today is that a 15-year-old female youth who was reported missing on December 16, 2020 has been located “safe and sound”.
