Some utility-related roadworks will be done in the evening-through-overnight period of Monday June 1 to June 5 at the busy commercial-area intersection of McCallum Road at Millstream Road in Langford.
There will be a detour for traffic at McCallum Road at Millstream Road from 6 pm in the evening through to 6 am in the morning.
The detour will be marked and traffic control personnel will be on site.
City of Langford Engineering explains: Due to the tight turning radius, large trucks will need to proceed through the intersection and U-turn at the roundabout, and make a left turn at the intersection’s east leg.
Some traffic delays may be expected but likely with minimal impact during those non-peak hours during a phase of COVID-19 economic recovery that is not particularly overloaded with vehicle traffic to begin with.
