~ West Shore Voice News
This evening Coast Capital Savings advised its clients and customers that some branches will close and others will have reduced hours, effective Thursday March 19.
This is clearly a sign of people staying away from crowded places during the self-isolation phase that public health officials are asking of British Columbians.
Among their information as released this evening:
Temporary limited branch closures
“Ten branches will be temporarily closed to ensure we are doing our part to flatten the curve and reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our communities.” Those branch locations include: Clayton, Fort Langley, Meadowtown, Westwood, Broadmoor, Edmonds, West Vancouver, Yaletown, Admirals and Central Saanich.
Reduced branch hours: Hours at the following locations are being aligned to the larger shopping centres in which they are located: Richmond Centre, Metrotown, Bay Centre, Tillicum and Westshore.
Additional precautions for branches remaining open: Includes adjusting staff levels, extra cleaning, and social distancing to reduce personal contact.
Of course, most banking can be done online. And ATMs will still be available.
