A Pro Max electric bike apparently worth over $3,000 was found by West Shore RCMP on June 27.

They say it was abandoned near the 900-block of Bear Mountain Parkway in Langford.

“Police are looking to return the bike to the rightful owner and believe it was likely stolen but never reported to police,” says Cpl Nancy Saggar, Media Relations Officer, West Shore RCMP.

“If your electric bike was stolen recently, and you think this could be yours, please call the West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264.”

RCMP say the owner will have to provide police with proof of ownership in order for it to be given back.

West Shore RCMP offers a free Bicycle Registry Program for citizens to register their bike details. If a bike is stolen and recovered by police, they would run the serial number and get the bike back to you.
