This traffic advisory will be of interest to commuters from the west shore heading into View Royal or onto Highway 1 off Island Highway.
Crack sealing will be done on the first two workdays of this coming week: Monday October 30 and Tuesday October 31, in the stretch of Island Highway from the border at Colwood over to the Highway 1 (Trans Canada) on ramp.
From 9:30 am to 2 pm each day.
Expect delays. Flaggers on site.
That route carries commuters from Sooke, Langford and Colwood through to View Royal and Highway 1 and beyond. It’s a busy workday morning commuter route.
The entire area is significant for workday commuter, shopper and commercial traffic.
