On Wednesday April 7, commuters through Colwood may wish to note some traffic delays 7am to 3pm along Ocean Blvd / Esquimalt Lagoon during the filming of a driving scene for a movie/TV production called ‘The Maid’.
The round-trip driving route for the film rig leaves JdF Rec Centre (at Island Highway and Ocean Boulevard), turns onto Ocean Boulevard, heads over to Esquimalt Lagoon, then onto Milburn Drive, and loops back.
The traffic interruption is likely to impact motorists, pedestrians and cyclists.
The filming rig will be accompanied by police along the driving route, says the City of Colwood.
Last week there were some filming activities for The Maid in Langford for which there was also a traffic advisory.
