Sooke Mayor to start weekly YouTube talks about COVID-19

In an effort to inform residents of the District of Sooke, Mayor Maja Tait will be conducting live video updates about the COVID-19 situation each Monday at 1:00 pm on the District Youtube Channel. Subscribe to the District of Sooke channel to get notifications. All videos will be available for viewing in the video library.

The District is ramping up the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) to an EOC Level 2 response in support of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The EOC and District offices are not are currently open to the public. Municipal services such as building permits and other forms and processes can be sent to municipal staff by email at info@sooke.ca .

The District has recently launched a COVID-19 pandemic updates and information page within www.sooke.ca to provide updates, highlights and links to federal and provincial ministry sites as well as a list of facility closures within the District.
