The opening of 20 new public electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in Saanich will be celebrated by the District of Saanich on Wednesday January 12.
Saanich Mayor Fred Haynes and CRD Board Chair Colin Plant will share brief remarks followed by a ribbon-cutting to mark this exciting milestone.
The event will be held outdoors during the ongoing COVID pandemic, and livestreamed on the Saanich Facebook page.
