Yesterday — with just five days to go until the 43rd federal election voting day — a six-part endorsement has been announced for incumbent NDP candidate Randall Garrison in Esquimalt-Saanich-Sooke.
Vancouver Mayor Kennedy Stewart, former NDP member of parliament Nathan Cullen, BC Canadian Peacekeeping Veterans association president Jim MacMillan-Murphy, MLA Mitzi Dean (Esquimalt-Metchosin), Metchosin Environmental leaders Frank & Jo Mitchell, and Gitxsan Author Trudy Spiller have announced their official endorsement of Randall Garrison for re-election as the MP for Esquimalt-Saanich-Sooke.
Garrison participated yesterday in the last of this election cycle’s formal all candidates debates in Esquimalt-Saanich-Sooke, that one held at Brookes Westshore private school in Colwood. He reiterated his career-long commitment to climate action and defending the rights of those in society who are put at lesser advantage.
Garrison cast his vote at a polling station in Colwood on Thanksgiving Sunday.
Yesterday a well-attended ‘Burma Shave’ (waving of signs at the roadside) took place for Garrison in Esquimalt.
