Provide your input:

The public is invited to provide ideas and cast their vote for what recreation amenities and facilities they want to see in Langford over the next five years.

Langford already contributes at least 50 percent to the operating revenues at the West Shore Parks and Recreation facility that is located in Colwood; four other municipalities also contribute (Colwood, View Royal, Highlands and Metchosin).

Langford contributes to providing artificial turf sport playing fields, including at Langford-area schools in the SD62 school district.

National sports capital:

As Langford continues to build its profile as a national sports capital (offering sports from community and amateur through to organized and professional).

At the September 10 event, local sports and recreation organizations will be in attendance to promote their offerings and find out how they might become involved with recreation in the community.
