Referendum ballot tally update at Thursday, November 29

As of 8:20 a.m. November 29, 1,135,000 completed Electoral Reform Referendum ballots packages are estimated to have been received by Elections BC.
That reflects approximately 34% returned. This does not include packages that have been received by Canada Post but not yet transferred to Elections BC.
As of this morning, 29.5% of the received ballots had been screened (opened and processed). There are approximately 3,297,395 eligible voters.
Completed ballots are due by 4:30 pm on Friday December 7, 2018.
In the Victoria area, ballot packages can be dropped off in person at the Elections BC Referendum Service Office at 100 – 1112 Fort St. They’re open to December 6 from 8:30 am to 6 pm Monday-Friday and Saturday 10 am to 6 pm. On Friday December 7, ballots can be dropped off 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
There’s a 24-hour drop box at the Service BC Office at 403-771 Vernon Ave in the Gateway Village. Also open 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
