Just when you need gasoline for your vehicle, this happens!
All the pumps at the ESSO service station on Jacklin Road in Langford were taped off this morning (Friday June 16), and probably still will be for a few hours into the afternoon.
The problem is how the computers are not functioning properly inside the payment kiosk. The TD Canada Trust POS banking system was down today which may have been behind the problem.
Gas shortage? No. The tanks were filled yesterday, says the staff person on site.
This is a popular gas station where the price of fuel is often a few cents less per litre than at other stations around the region.
