On this Sunday afternoon there was a motor vehicle accident (MVI) on Amy Road in Langford. That’s in a commercial/residential area near where the West Shore Parkway leads to Highway 1 (Trans Canada Highway).
The incident happened near a trailer park that road.
Amy Road was closed for a short time (sounds like less than an hour) to all traffic between Canyon Park Road and West Shore Parkway, said City of Langord Director of Engineering Michelle Mahovlich.
A detour was available on Humpback Road (where emergency gates were opened). Bylaw enforcement was on scene to direct traffic.
West Shore RCMP was on site to investigate. So far there is no incident report issued to media, including no indication of injuries or damage.
There were no extraordinary weather issues today.
