COMMUTER TRAFFIC ADVISORY
~ West Shore Voice News
On Monday March 18 the inside lanes will be closed on Jacklin Road on either side of Langford Parkway, for work in the center lanes, says City of Langford Engineering. That’s between 9 am and 3 pm
The inside lanes will be closed, reducing traffic to a single lane in each direction. Traffic control will be on-site directing traffic. Delays may be expected.
This is part of a suite of improvements to the Langford Parkway area ahead of the busy sports season at Westhills Stadium and to improve traffic flow and access in and out of the commercial areas on Langford Parkway. As well, Belmont Market just a bit further down at Jacklin and Kelly Road is beginning to unfold and will draw through more traffic.
Jacklin has always been a main thoroughfare through Langford. The overall upgrades along Jacklin since mid 2018 have included some sidewalks and also new signal lights near Belmont Market.
