UPDATE: This work will be done on Thursday July 11 (not July 10 as previously advised by the City of Langford).
As posted on July 8:
On Wednesday July 10 there will be changed traffic patterns on Leigh Road and Langford Parkway during a sanitary sewer service installation.
Traffic patterns will be temporarily changed from 7 am to 5 pm, fronting 3035 Leigh Road between Dunford Avenue and Langford Parkway, says City of Langford Engineering.
The busy intersection at Leigh Road and Langford Parkway allows traffic through that is heading to Hwy 1 access, and beyond to Bear Mountain. The intersection is directly across from Starlight Stadium and City Centre Park.
“Work will have to be done in shifts,” says Langford Engineering.
“The first shift will require left hand turn lane will to be closed temporarily and then once complete, traffic will be shifted so that northbound traffic will be turning into the left hand turn lane,” a city spokesperson said.
Traffic control will be on-site directing traffic. Delays may be expected, says Langford Engineering. They ask that motorists be aware and they apologize for the inconvenience.
