If you use the Galloping Goose Trail in the west shore, this traffic advisory is for you.

The Galloping Goose Trail between Island Highway and Belmont Bridge will be closed to pedestrian/cycling traffic August 16 to 23 during emergency sanitary sewer repair by the Capital Regional District (CRD).

There will be a detour route through informal walking path off the trail, onto Belmont Road, Ocean Boulevard, Wale Road (to continue back onto the trail off Wale Road).

Residents and trail users are thanked in advance by City of Colwood Engineering.
