The City of Colwood’s next Committee of the Whole meeting — on Monday April 6 — will be held remotely. Agenda is online.

This comes after several meetings were cancelled in March due to the the requirement for physical distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ministerial Order No. M083 allows municipalities to conduct business without in-person public attendance during the COVID19 Pandemic.

“We know this is a new way of conducting meetings and have proactively put in place the following two options to ensure we continue to hear from the public on matters that are important to you,” the City of Colwood stated in a release today.

1. Provide written comments to corporateservices@colwood.ca up to noon on the day of the Council meeting where the item will be considered. That date is included with the recommendation for each item of business on this agenda.

2. Pre-register by noon on the day of the meeting to speak to Council or Committee during Public Participation via telephone by emailing corporateservices@colwood.ca
