He’s not seeking re-election, but outgoing MLA Adam Olsen will now be travelling around the province to support BC Green candidates as they prepare for the October 19 election campaign.
During August 16 to 22 Olsen will be on tour with four candidates. Olsen is the BC Green Party provincial campaign chair.
Olsen’s week-long tour of what the BC Greens are calling “key BC Green ridings” will see him in one Vancouver Island riding (Courtenay/Comox with Arzeena Hamir) and various lower Mainland communities:
- Powell River (Aug 18 with Dr Chris Hergesheimer), Sechelt (Aug 18 with Dr Chris Hergesheimer), Roberts Creek (Aug 1 with Dr Chris Hergesheimer), Gibsons (Aug 19 with Dr Chris Hergesheimer),
- Squamish (Aug 19 with Jeremy Valeriote),
- West Vancouver (Aug 20 with Jeremy Valeriote),
- Creston (Aug 21 with Nicole Charlwood) and Nelson (Aug 22 with Nicole Charlwood).
The BC Greens will aim to connect with voters about issues like housing, cost of living and climate action.
The BC Green Party currently has 22 candidates across the 93 ridings for the BC election on October 19.
