The small business operating as The Soil Guy is doing more than just mowing lawns.

Serving clients in the west shore and Sooke (and Greater Victoria region), The Soil Guy provides natural lawn and garden care.

Kane is a landscaper by trade and enthusiastic gardener and farmer in his personal time. He is passionate about bringing non-toxic, all-natural solutions to farmers, gardeners, and home-owners, working in harmony with nature.

Safe and affordable:

Safety for children, pets and the environment are among the top concerns, in addition to the benefits of organic non-toxic soil management.

As a landscape gardener, The Soil Guy likes to keep his prices competitive and affordable.

Soil ecosystem:

“We focus on improving the health of your soil ecosystem to create a resilient pest- and weed-resistant lawn and garden,” says Kane, who is the owner-operator.

“You don’t have to sacrifice yields or aesthetics when you go organic!,” says the young entrepreneur and trained soil lab technician.

His work pays attention to the soil-food web — it’s kind of like the food chain but in the soil — made up of a huge variety of microorganisms, including bacteria, fungi, protozoa, nematodes, micro-arthropods, and more.
