Due to a fallen tree at the intersection of Florence Lake Rd & McCallum Rd, the intersection is closed short term, as advised by the City of Langford Engineering at 11:40 am today.

Taking an alternate route is recommended.

McCallum Road is used by some drivers for access to the high-traffic Millstream retail commercial area including Costco, Staples and Home Depot.

After the long summer drought, some larger trees experienced compromised root system. Last night’s snow fall and the recent weekend wind storm may have contributed to weakened trees.
