The 2020 ARTiFACTS exhibit by the Sooke Arts Council will likely be cancelled for this year, due to the Sooke Region Museum being closed during COVID-19 and of course for everyone’s health and safety during this tie.

“To protect our most vulnerable community members, like many others, the Sooke Region Museum is currently closed, and our April Arts Council meeting has been cancelled as well,” said SAC president Linda Gordon today in an email to members and supporters.

Officially postponed for now, the ARTiFACTS show has been postponed for now, however, if the museum does not re-open by April 15, it may be canceled for this year.

“Thank you to all that signed up for the show!,” says Linda Gordon. “We will do our best to provide equally great, new art show opportunities later this year!”

“Stay home, stay safe, take care of yourself, and fill your free time with creating your amazing art! See you on the other side,” she says.
