Subway sandwiches are popular right across Canada. Fast food restaurants continue to be a robust part of the retail service sector despite economic challenges for many households.
One of the recent marketing themes is how much Canadian soccer star Christine Sinclair likes Subway sandwiches! And one of the recent specials has been a free drink and free bag of chips with every Subway sandwich.
All the nationally advertised specials are available at all stores, says local west shore Subway owner Gurdip Grewal.
She and her family own 16 Subway stores in BC including Victoria to Campbell River, in the Okanagan and northern BC. Her family has a residence in Langford.
All hiring is done locally.
In the west shore, Subway restaurants are at:
- 1790 Island Highway (near Wale Road) in Colwood. Convenient in the Saunders Centre in a busy shopping area.
- 2244 Sooke Road in Hatley Park Plaza (at Kelly Road) in Colwood. Lots of outdoor parking.
- Westshore Town Centre mall at 2945 Jacklin Road in Langford. Entrance from large parking lot just outside the mall entrance (at the Winners end of the mall).
The Subway app and gift cards are convenient.
