If you’re a resident of Langford, Sooke, Highlands or Juan de Fuca you can vote in today’s June 24, 2023 by-election in Langford-Juan de Fuca (8 am to 8 pm).

You can vote in the Langford-Juan de Fuca by-election if you are:

  • a resident of the Langford-Juan de Fuca electoral district,
  • 18 or older on June 24, 2023,
  • a Canadian citizen, and
  • a resident of B.C. since December 23, 2022.

12 locations today:

There are 12 voting locations today (there were 13 locations during advance voting).

The voting stations are spread throughout the large riding today: six in Langford (including the District Electoral Office), and one each in Sooke (at SEAPARC Leisure Complex), East Sooke, Highlands, Shirley, Otter Point, and Port Renfrew.

In Langford proper, the six voting place locations are:

  • Crystal View Elementary School – 2662 Silverstone Way
  • Four Points Sheraton – 829 McCallum Rd
  • Happy Valley Elementary School – 3291 Happy Valley Rd
  • The Forge Church – 2612 Sooke Rd
  • Willway Elementary School – 2939 Mt Wells Dr
  • District Electoral Office – #110-955 Reunion Ave

Advance voting results:

During June 16 to 21 there were 6,805 votes cast during advance voting in Langford-Juan de Fuca. That’s 13.2 percent of the total 51,517 eligible voters in the riding.
