Apparently there haven’t been any particular incidents over rollout of new BC proof of vaccination card at Westshore Town Centre in Langford.
But today on Twitter and Instagram the popular shopping mall posted a general reminder to encourage patrons to show kindness and patience.
“As we all navigate the roll out of the new Proof of Vaccine Card program together, this was just a general reminder to encourage our patrons to show kindness and patience,” said Rebecca Catley, Vice President, Corporate Communications, QuadReal Property Group, in a statement today to Island Social Trends.
That includes people who shop at stores, dine in restaurants, and go to the Cineplex movie theatre.
Frontline staff at all those types of outlets and venues will be learning to ask for the Proof of Vaccination card (digital or print) and a person’s ID to go with it, before allowing a person to enter the premises.
