Another year of the Sooke Fine Arts Show is coming up in 2024!
Scheduled for July 27 to August 5 (with a Purchaser’s Preview on July 26) the 10-day Sooke Fine Arts Show 2024 relies on the contributions of time and skills by a range of volunteers.
Volunteer signup is now open online through a service called Signup Genius.
Organizers recommend that interested volunteers plan ahead. Options include setup, showtime and take-down. Choosing favourite time slots now is a good idea. More information for volunteers is posted on the Sooke Fine Arts Show website.
The system will send reminders closer to the show.
Things to keep in mind when signing up:
• TABS. Volunteer shifts are separated into different teams/tabs for easier navigation.
• CALENDAR. Shifts are shown in a calendar-view by default, but can also be viewed in a list format.
• DON’T SEE YOUR USUAL VOLUNTEER SPOT? Not all team shifts are on SignUp Genius. If there is a team you are interested in that is not on SignUp Genius, please reach out to your Team Lead or Gunny.
• CODE OF CONDUCT. All volunteers will be asked to confirm they have read our code of conduct, and will be asked to provide important emergency contact information either during orientation or upon their first shift.
