On Tuesday August 22, some paving will be done on the Chidlow Connector between Sooke Road and Luxton Road.
As a result, there will be traffic delays, 7 am to 4 pm.
The Chidlow Connector is locally known as the Slegg Lumber exit, as the major building supply store is located at Highway 14 and Chidlow.
The Chidlow Connector opened March 28, 2022 which has facilitated traffic flow to and from Highway 14 (Sooke Road) for residents in the Happy Valley area of south Langford. The new access was also intended to also ease-up traffic load on Highway 14 at the Happy Valley Road intersection (about 1 km further, to the east).
On-site crews will direct traffic. Expect delays.
