Leigh Road is a popular access route to Highway 1, leading to and from Langford Parkway (stadium, commercial offices, retail shopping, and residential area of Westhills) as well as access to McCallum Road.
The Highway 1 Leigh Road Interchange is Exit 16.
Traffic delays are to be expected in the stretch of Leigh Road between Sergio Place and Highway 1 starting Tuesday March 4 through to Friday March 7.
The work for a duct bank utility installation by BC Hydro and associated roadworks still take place between 7 am and 5 pm on each of those days.
Drivers are asked to follow signage and traffic control personnel.
On-site traffic control will facilitate vehicle and pedestrian access to local businesses in the affected area, says City of Langford Engineering.
