On Sunday November 10, Randall Garrison, MP (Esquimalt-Saanich-Sooke) awarded 15 members of the Esquimalt-Saanich-Sooke region with King Charles III Coronation Medals.

This prestigious award honours those who have made a significant contribution to Canada or to a particular province, territory, region or community of Canada, or have made an outstanding achievement abroad that brings credit to Canada.

“Whether it is through everyday acts of selfless service, or extraordinary examples of bravery, we have so many members of our region who have made a profound impact deserving of recognition,” said Garrison.

Garrison himself has contributed to community for many years, including his time on Esquimalt municipal council before being elected as the Member of Parliament for Esquimalt-Saanich-Sooke in 2011 (re-elected 2015, 2019 and 2021).
