It could be an extra happy New Year for someone with a winning Lotto 6/49 ticket, but only if he or she comes forward – and soon. A Lotto 6/49 player who purchased a $1 million winning ticket in Victoria earlier this year still has not claimed the life-changing prize, and time is running out.
The winning ticket is an exact match for the 10-digit (18923844-07) Lotto 6/49 Guaranteed Prize Draw held January 3, 2018. The winner has until the end of the business day on January 3, 2019 to claim their winnings.
All lottery winners have 52 weeks from the draw date printed on their ticket to come forward and claim their prize. BCLC will announce the winner’s name, and the specific retail location where the ticket was purchased, after the player comes forward.
