The WorkLink organization based out of the west shore of Vancouver Island serves the communities of Langford, Colwood, Sooke and surrounding region.

WorkLink is a WorkBC Employment Service Centre. This summer they celebrated their 40th anniversary at their two public Resource Centers that are open to all job seekers.

They provide free individualized services and comprehensive supports to eligible job seekers in the Westshore and Sooke region who are unemployed, underemployed or precariously employed.

Their website at http://www.worklink.bc.ca offers information about programs, workshops and eligibility as well as a job board.

The Westshore office at 3179 Jacklin Road in Colwood serves Highlands, Langford, Colwood and Metchosin. Their regular office hours are Monday – Friday: 8:30AM – 4:30PM. Phone: 250.478.9525

The Sooke office at Unit D, 6625 Sooke Road in Sooke serves Port Renfrew, Jordan River, Sooke, and East Sooke. Regular office hours Tuesday to Thursday 9AM to 3:30PM (closed Noon to 1 pm). Phone: 250.642.3685

In October, WorkLink hosted a Westshore Chamber of Commerce mixer at their westshore office at which business guests were pleasantly surprised to learn about the range of services offered to businesses that are seeking employees or adjusting any employment scenarios at their workplace.

During the 2018 holiday season, the main office on Jacklin Road will be closed December 25 & 26 as well as being closed January 1.
