LANGFORD

  • LANGFORD – People tend to drive too fast in Langford, potentially dangerous for people walking dogs in speedy residential zones. (Shawn Butterworth, May 8/21)
  • LANGFORD – Speeding on Luxton Road, need sidewalks (Wendy Hobbs, May 8/21)
  • LANGFORD – Speeding on Sooke Road (Hwy 14) from Glenshire Rd to Happy Valley Rd, need sidewalks for children’s safety when walking to school (Monique Heintz Bandet, May 8/21)
  • LANGFORD – Speed enforcement needs to be improved around town, especially around school zones (Reimar Gautsch, May 8/21)
  • LANGFORD – Requested sidewalk on Bellamy Rd. It is a speedway, lots of walkers and kids going to school. We got a multi-use path; now no parking but also now speeding cyclists and people on skate boards. (Lynn Furman, May 8/21)
  • LANGFORD – Stop signs and speed reminders needed on Walfred Road at Jacklin Road (where it becomes Myles Mansell Rd on the other side of Walfred), as visibility is poor with curves to both right and left when crossing Walfred. (Mary Brooke, May 3/21 – as contributed at the City of Langford meeting of the Planning, Zoning & Affordable Housing Committee.)
