Also the statements from candidates for Juan de Fuca regional director, and also from trustee candidates for the SD62 school board (Milne’s Landing Zone and Belmont Zone).

Running for Mayor in Langford: Stew Young (incumbent), Robert Fraser. Running for Mayor in Colwood: Carol Hamilton (incumbent), Rob Martin. Running for Mayor in Sooke: Maja Tait (incumbent), Kevin Pearson, Mick Rhodes.

SD62. The SD62 school district serves the west shore area. If you live in Langford, Colwood, Sooke, Metchosin, Juan de Fuca, or areas of Highlands and View Royal then you can vote for school trustees on October 20. If you’re in Sooke or Juan de Fuca you vote for Milne’s Landing Zone candidates — see page 17 in the Oct 12th West Shore Voice News.
