Two separate reports of theft from a construction site at 2165 Bellamy Road in the Millstream Road area of Langford are being investigated by West Shore RCMP.
Police acquired CCTV footage showing two separate thefts taking place earlier this week, on Wednesday July 2.
First incident:
The first theft was at approximately 10:40 a.m. when a black F150 pick-up truck pulled into the site and two male suspects exit the truck proceeding to load equipment from the site into the bed of the truck.
The suspects and the truck involved in the first theft are described as follows:
- Early 2000’s two door F150 with a black folding Tonneau cover, Harley Davidson sticker on the left side of the tailgate, writing on the box of the truck;
- Suspect # 1- driver of the black truck, male with light skin color, dark facial hair, dark baseball a cap, white t-shirt, dark pants and black boots;
- Suspect #2 – passenger in the black truck, male with light skin color, wearing a white tank top shirt, tan colored shorts, white shoes and white visor cap.
Second incident:
At approximately 2:40 p.m. police believe a second theft from the same site was interrupted by witnesses who reported a white truck driving out of the site at a high rate of speed after the suspect realized they were being watched.
Photo and description of the truck involved in the second theft:
- White two-door older model pick up truck (possibly Chevrolet), with a black cargo liner and at least two tires in the cargo box;
- Dried mud on the sides of the truck;
- Suspect #3- male with light skin color was seen driving the white pick-up truck.
