“We would like to thank the public for allowing space to investigate while on scene this afternoon, it has since been re-opened,” said Constable Groulx about the beach area, in a news release posted at 4:28 pm.

Many people are accessing beaches and water due to the extreme heat this week.

Cooling and misting stations are alternatives to going into rivers, lakes or the ocean.
