More gasoline supply arriving in Greater Victoria

The City of Langford has said just now (at 8 am, November 18) that 15 gas tanker trucks currently mustered at the Bamberton site will travel by escort southbound over the Malahat (Highway 1) at 9 am this morning.

That’s heading into Greater Victoria.

“There is no need to panic about gasoline supplies,” says Michelle Mahovlich, Director of Engineering.

Malahat update:

As of 9:15 am today November 18, the BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure says that Malahat overnight closures have been cancelled, and single-lane alternating traffic (30 minutes at a time) will continue 24 hours a day, now that culvert repairs have been done (overnight last night).
