Testimonials:

Testimonials carry a certain amount of weight. That might be more true during a by-election when people are focused on how one single candiadte will fit into the existing council.

Recently a former District of Sooke councillor posted this testimonial about Haldane as the candidate of choice for Sooke at this time. Rick Kaspser posted on Facebook:

“There’s a byelection happening for Sooke Council and seven people are running. I’m supporting Herb Haldane and I’ll tell you why. I served with Herb on Council, and he knows municipal business and how to make things happen. He makes sure everyone gets treated fairly and goes to bat for those who need it. He’s demonstrated his dedication to Sooke through years of community service, and he’ll always have the best interests of the community in mind at the Council table. Unlike many in the political game, he’s not out there trying to get credit for the job they’re supposed to do. He works hard, gets things done, and is humble about his many accomplishments. He’s the most experienced of all the candidates and committed to workable, long-term solutions. His practical, common-sense approach will serve us well.”
