Garbage collection in View Royal is normally on Wednesdays. This holiday season both Christmas Day and New Year’s Day fall on Wednesdays.
The Town of View Royal has advised their residents that Waste Management will not be collecting garbage on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day.
“Residents who normally receive garbage collection on Wednesdays are asked to put out their garbage for pick up on the following day (Thursday) after each of these holidays,” it was stated in a municipal release.
“Waste Management will collect both Wednesday and Thursday routes on the Thursday following these holidays (December 26 and January 2),” said the release.
