For the many people who shop at Costco in Langford, this is pretty big news… two new sets of traffic signal lights will be activated on McCallum Road to the Costco entrances, tomorrow morning Wednesday January 6.
Fans of the local Costco store even have their own ‘Costco Langford Updates’ Facebook group to stay on top of things like this, and in this case probably to celebrate.
Please be cautious in the area as drivers get used to the new laning, it was advised in a traffic release from the City of Langford today.
Other major commercial development along McCallum — including the future new home of the Maritime Museum of BC, an office tower and performance theatre — will also be assisted by this additional traffic flow control.
