NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh will be on Vancouver Island Thursday and Friday, September 26 & 27 as the 40-day federal election campaign (which began September 11) reaches its mid-point.
- DAY 16: On Thursday, September 26, Singh will make an announcement on Affordable Housing with Rachel Blaney at 9 am in Campbell River, and then head to Courtenay for 12:45 pm for a roundtable on health care with Gord Johns. At 4:15 pm he will visit Morningstar Farm in Nanaimo. That’s followed by a Housing Town Hall with Nanaimo-Ladysmith candidate Bob Chamberlin at 6 pm at the Coast Bastion Hotel in Nanaimo from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at the Coast Bastion Hotel (11 Bastion Street).
- DAY 17: On Friday, September 27, Singh will be taking part in a town hall focused on climate change, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at the Victoria Conference Centre, Carson Hall, Salon A, 720 Douglas Street.
Earlier today Singh held an announcement about health services affordability in Vancouver. This evening he will be campaigning in Port Moody.
On Thursday evening September 26 in Victoria there will be a federal All Candidates meeting in downtown Victoria, 7 to 9 pm at the Christ Church Cathedral school gym, 912 Vancouver St.
