The Town of View Royal is again this year running their “Light Up” View Royal holiday lights/display contest.

“With the pandemic, Mayor and Council have been unable to connect with community members as usual. This is a way to get out and recognize some of our best and brightest holiday displays”, stated Councillor Damian Kowalewich.

Town Council wants to recognize some of the best outdoor Christmas light displays in View Royal and is looking for nominations!

How to participate:

Send an email to info@viewroyal.ca to nominate a View Royal address – deadline is Friday, December 24! 

Take a Christmas lights tour around View Royal and check out the nominations for yourself. You don’t have to live in View Royal to nominate – just the address needs to be in View Royal.

Delivery by elves:

Members of Council will view each nominated address, then between Christmas and New Year’s Eve Council elves will deliver a festive treat to the top five.

“Turn on your lights, View Royal! We love your spirit,” says Mayor David Screech and council.
