    • Sunday March 30. Glen Lake Road lane closure at Sarah Beckett Memorial Park (3020 Glen Lake Road), 10 am to 5 pm. New Drive Slowly markings.
    • Tuesday April 15 to Thursday April 17. Leigh Road between Sergio Place and Trans Canada Hwy 1. 7:30 am to 5 pm. Traffic interruptions during BC Hydro utility duct bank work and roadworks.
    • Tuesday April 22 to Friday May 2. Happy Valley Road at Englewood Ave. Intermittent traffic delays

    • June 9 to October 1, 2025. Metchosin Road – east side from Latoria Blvd to Ryder Hesjedal Way. 7 am to 7 pm. For Metchosin Road upgrade works.

    • Jan to Dec 2024. Charters Road construction, Mon to Fri (7 am to 7 pm), all year. Single lane traffic. | Update on May 27: Charters closed to through-traffic May 27 to mid-October 2024. | Charters Road spurs on Throup Road debate (June 22, 2024).
    • Tuesday September 24, 2024. Partial re-opening of Charters Road (from Highway 14). 
    • October 31. Charters Road in Sooke is now open.
    • Open House about Highway 14 at Idlemore Road intersection safety improvements. Coming soon at Saseenos Elementary. (Being rescheduled from Jan 29 to another date)
    • Saanich & Peninsula

      • Dec 9 to 20. Sinclair Road closed 24/7 (including weekends), from Clarndon Rd to Haro Rd for storm drain installation. Traffic barricades will be in place, with signage to redirect traffic. Local traffic will have access to personal residences; access to UVic parking lots will be permitted; businesses remain open. The work is part of the Sinclair Road Upgrades Project (for safer commuting through Cadboro Bay).

        Malahat / Cowichan / Duncan

    • September 15 to mid-October. Malahat summit repaving. 5.5 km stretch of Highway 1 from the Malahat summit viewpoint to Bamberton, as far north as Mill Bay Road. In the evenings and overnight, during off-peak travel times only: 8 pm on Sundays to 5 am on Thursdays. Single-lane alternating traffic control from 10 pm to 5 am. Passage will be maintained through the area with anticipated delays as long as 20 minutes. [Info from BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure]
    • Friday Oct 4 to end of October. Malahat summit repaving. 3.5 km stretch of Highway 1 near Goldstream from south of the Aspen Road intersection to just south of the recently completed Tunnel Hill washout repair site.
