Over the year-end winter holiday season residents of View Royal were encouraged to dress up their homes with festive lights. For brightening up community spirit and a contest!
The Town of View Royal contest saw 24 nominations of decorated addresses from across most of these neighbourhood areas: Atkins, Burnside, Craigflower, Harbour, Helmcken, Hospital, Thetis and Wilfert.
The contest was open to December 23. There was of course snowfall Dec 19 to 22 that topped off the festive look in that week leading up to Christmas.
The Light Up View Royal contest top three winning addresses this year were 550 Prince Robert Drive, 122 Kingham Place, and #10-1509A Glentana Road.
