Alistair MacGregor, MP (Cowichan-Malahat-Langford) has announced the “Create Your Canada” contest for 2020.

The contest gives students in Grades 11 and 12 in his South Vancouver Island riding the opportunity to win a trip to Ottawa by submitting their ideas on how to make Canada a better place. The winning student(s) will have the opportunity to watch MP Alistair MacGregor present their idea to the House of Commons as a Private Member’s Bill.

“The young people of this country are our future, and I want to encourage them to get involved and think about how we can create a better Canada.”

Resources for teachers are posted online.
