A suspect has been arrested for two thefts carried out in the west shore on September 23 (at the RBC Branch in Westshore Town Centre, 2945 Jacklin Road at 2:10 pm) and September 28 (at the Tim Horton’s at 845 Goldstream Avenue at 1:30 am).

In both incidents, money was demanded and received by the suspect but without violent incident.

West Shore RCMP report that they arrested 40-year-old Christopher Lee Lamoureux of New Westminster on September 29 for these robberies. RCMP attempted an earlier arrest on September 25 at 5 am but called off their vehicle chase in the interest of public safety, says Cst. Lamoureux is currently in custody and has been charged with two counts of robbery and one count of flight from police and one count of dangerous driving. His next court appearance is set for October 2, 2019, it was stated in an RCMP news release today.
