The aggravated assault occurred in the late evening hours on June 26 outside the one-level school located at 2764 Jacklin Road in a busy residential and commercial area of central Langford.

On location, police learned “there had been an altercation involving two groups of youths, leaving one youth hospitalized with knife wounds,” says Cst Nancy Saggar, Media Relations Officer, West Shore RCMP. Reportedly the wounds are non-life-threatening.

The grounds were cleaned with hosed water by Langford Fire Rescue on Thursday.

This happened on the evening before the last day of school. Children arriving at school on Thursday morning were met with yellow crime tape. The school has not yet indicated how school access was given to the students that morning.
