The 40th Sooke Fine Arts Show runs July 25 through August 3, 2026.
The popular Sooke Fine Arts Show provides the opportunity for the finest artists from Vancouver Island and BC’s coastal islands to showcase and sell their work and boosts the local economy each summer.
The 10-day Sooke Fine Arts Show will be show held at the SEAPARC Recreation Centre.
The show starts on a Saturday, with a Friday preview night on July 24.
Save the dates:
- Show dates – July 25 – August 3, 2026
– Tickets can be purchased online in June, or in-person @ the show - Purchasers’ Preview – Friday, July 24: 7 to 10 pm
– Tickets go on sale online early May, and tend to sell out - Family Day – Tuesday, July 28: 2 to 7 pm
– Tickets $5 after 2pm (youth 17 & under free) - Seniors’ Tea– Wednesday, July 29: 12:30 to 4:30 pm
– Seniors get tea & scones with entry, everyone else pays just $5 extra - M-art-ket Night – Thursday July 30: 5 to 9 pm
– $5 after 5pm, runs concurrently with the Night Market at the Sooke Region Museum - Artist Celebration –Friday July 31: 7 to 10 pm
– Invitation-only for artists & sponsors
Funding:
The Sooke Fine Arts Society receives provincial grant funding to help with the cost of producing the Sooke Fine Arts Show.
Ticket sales cover some of the costs as do the fees paid by artists who submit their art for adjudication. [Call to Artists is now open, to June 1, 2026]
Many sponsors make financial or in-kind contributions to help the show be its best.
Volunteers welcome:
People who are interested in volunteering to help run the 40th Sooke Fine Arts Show are welcome to attend a volunteer information event on Saturday April 11, from 3:30 to 5:30 pm at Holy Trinity Church, 1962 Murray Rd, Sooke.
