Lots of excitement and lineups to get in, the Soberfest event at Starlight Stadium in Langford today was busy this afternoon.
The event continues to 9 pm this evening, Saturday August 2. The weather continues to be warm and skies clear through the day and into evening.
The music lineup includes:
Serena Ryder
The Strumbellas
Yukon Blonde
Snak The Ripper
Colicchie
There are bouncy castles for the kids and plenty of activities. Tents are available for some shade.
Soberfest is an event that is free of alcohol, cannabis and drugs. It’s an event dedicated to celebrating recovery.
The event helps raise funds to help support individuals in getting to treatment/ Resources help these participants with achieving lasting recovery. Over 40 people have been assisted with treatment as the result of the groups’ fundraising so far, say organizers.
The Soberfest event has received grant funding support from the City of Langford.
