It’s a family and community event. Runners will be gathering at Belmont Secondary School starting at 8 am, to collect their registration packages.

This event is in memory of Cst. Sarah Beckett who was killed in the line of duty on April 5, 2016. The money raised will be donated to the Constable Sarah Beckett Memorial Scholarship sponsored by the Capital Regional District (CRD) Traffic Safety Commission.

Registration took place up to April 12. Early bird registration was $50, and from March onward it was $55 per person. Registration includes a technical run shirt, finishers medal and participant insurance.

For those who weren’t planning to run in Langford, a virtual 5km run can be completed by posting a photo on the event’s Facebook page with hashtag #RunforBeckett (that option closed April 7).
